Roy Allen Tyger, 74, of Houston, Mo., formerly of Campbell, Mo., died Tuesday, June 6, 2006, at the St. John's Regional Health Care in Springfield, Mo.

Born May 23, 1932, in Hickorflat, Miss., son of the late Lee Roy and Molly Bell Evertt Tyger, he was a U.S. Army veteran.

In 1952, in Marion, Ark., he married Mary Emma Barkley, who survives.

Survivors also include two sons, Thomas D. Tyger, of Houston, Mo., and Wayne Tyger, of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Maty L. Tyger, of Apple Spring, Texas; one sister, Myrtle Fowler, of Clarksdale, Miss.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela and one sister, Helen.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Thursday, June 8, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 9, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Moore officiating.

Burial with military rites will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
