Frederick Gene Blagg, 34, of Graham, Texas, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at Cresson, Texas.

Born Nov. 4, 1971, in St. Louis, Mo., son of Buddy Gene Blagg and Roberta Fay Myers, he attended school in Cooter, Mo., and St. Louis and was a U.S. Marine Corps and Army veteran, having earned the Army Commendation Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with two Bronze Stars and the Marksmanship Award. He was employed by the Schlumberger Well Service in Graham and a member of the Oak Street Baptist Church in Graham.

Survivors include twin daughters, Hannah Elizabeth and Haelee Lynn Blagg; three step-children, Brittany Nicole and Justin Alan McLemore and Grayson Lee Mattox; his mother, Roberta Fay Myers Bolan, of Caruthersville, Mo.; his father, Buddy Gene Blagg, of Caruthersville; two brothers, Terry Blagg and Russell Bolan, both of Caruthersville and three sisters, Francetta Ann Lacey, of Bald Knob, Ark., Angela Fay Juarez, of Blytheville, Ark., and Teresa Dian Sanchez, of Jackson, Tenn.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 5, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with the Rev. Jeremy Damesworth officiating.

Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.

Pallbearers were David, Eric and Timothy Lacey, Joseph Juarez, Lonnie Chapman and Jonathan Blagg.
