Leonard Owen Butler, 49, of Kennett, died Friday, June 2, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born July 8, 1956, at Kennett, he was a son of Betty Ruth Cagle Butler of Kennett and the late Oras Leonard Butler.

Other survivors include three sons, Jason Minyard, of Missouri, Michael Butler, of Jackson, Tenn., and Jeffrey Butler of Kennett; one daughter, Jennifer Sawyer, of Senath, Mo.; two brothers, Oras Butler and Virgil Butler, both of Kennett; four sisters, Sheila Potts and Sherry Fox, both of Kennett, Rose Shatley of Paragould, Ark. and Gayla Cumpton, of Jackson, and six grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 5, in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Paragould with the Rev. Hubert Robinson officiating.

Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
