Doris Louise McClanahan, 75, of Campbell, Mo., died Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell.
Born July 14, 1930, in Campbell, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Pennington, she was a dietitian.
On April 26, 1978, in Malden, Mo., she married John McClanahan, who survives.
Survivors also include five sons, Gary and Randall Eugene Lawrence, both of Midlothian, Texas, Freddie Wayne Lawrence, of Waynesboro, Tenn., Jessie Michael Lawrence, of Piggott, Ark., and Everett Steven Lawrence, of Castle Rock, Colo.; four step-sons; one brother, Jessie Pennington, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two sisters, Bonnie Hensley, of Port Aransas, Texas and Mary Ida Waugh, of Turrell, Ark.; 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Beulah Lola Brinker.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Thursday, May 25, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elder Cemetery at Campbell.
