Walter Crain

Walter Herman "Cowboy" "Curley" Crain, 69, of Braggadocio, Mo., died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at Memphis, Tenn.

Born Oct. 5, 1936, in Braggadocio, son of the late Adrian Gray and Elizabeth Marie Felton Crain, he was a graduate of Braggadocio High School and was employed at Brown Shoe and Crain Service Center.

On Dec. 30, 1960, in Caruthersville, Mo., he married Donna Sue Pickens, who survives.

Survivors also include one daughter, Lori Ann Crain, of Braggadocio and two brothers, Earl and Joe Crain, both of Braggadocio.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 4, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti, Mo., with Jeff Thomas officiating.

Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.

Pallbearers were Jason Pery, Joe Aldridge, Jamie Cummings, William Walker, Rick Hall and Dennis Hayes.
