Christopher Joel Cook, 37, of Escondido, Calif., died Saturday, April 29, 2006, at Escondido.

Born Dec. 20, 1968, in St. Charles, Mo., son of Mason Cook, Jr., and Pamela Edwards Crawford, he was in the Naval Reserve and employed at C&H Machine.

Survivors include one son, Cole Robert Cook, of Vista, Calif.; one brother, Jason Cook, of Vista; his mother, Pamela Edwards Crawford, of Kennett; his father and step-mother, Mason Cook, Jr., and wife, Karen, of Murray, Ky., and grandparents Betty Archer and Mason Cook, Sr., both of Kennett.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Mason Cook, III., and grandparents the Rev. Don Edwards and Verla Edwards.
