Medrith Lucille Hefner, 93, of Campbell, Mo., died Sunday, May 7, 2006, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.
Born Feb. 4, 1913, in Batesville, Ark., daughter of the late John Melvin and Louisia Stewart Webb, she was a homemaker and a member of the Osborn General Baptist Church in Qulin, Mo.
On June 18, 1938, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., she married John Henry Hefner, who preceded her in death on May 19, 1973. She was also preceded in death by one son; two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lou Weeks, of Campbell; two sons, William Hefner, of Tupelo, Miss., and Clyde Hefner, of Fisk, Mo.; one step-daughter, Anna Lou Lott, of Fairdealing, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today, Tuesday, May 9, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Josh Carpenter officiating.
Burial was in the Qulin Cemetery at Qulin, Mo.
