William Lynn Johnson, 43, of Hayti, Mo., died Sunday, April 30, 2006, at his residence.
Born Oct. 24, 1962, in Hayti, son of Elwanda Christine Ferrel Johnson and the late William Howard Johnson, he attended Caruthersville Schools and was employed by Missouri Fabrication in Caruthersville.
On May 21, 1998, in Caruthersville, he married Martha Sides, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Stephan Francis Smith, of Hayti; his mother, Wanda Johnson, of Caruthersville, Mo.; two brothers, Donald Johnson, of Caruthersville and David Johnson, of Yorkville, Tenn., and five sisters, Dorothy Banzhaf, of Brooklyn, Iowa, Betty Moore, Karen Clayton and Lisa Walker, all of Caruthersville and Frances Shelton, of Finger, Tenn.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 3, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with the Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.
Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Butch Swofford, Stephen Smith, Robert and Scott Heathcock, Justin Sides and Alton Thompson.
