Hershel Kirby

Hershel Kirby, 69, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Kennett, died April 19, 2006.

Born Nov. 8, 1936, in Kennett, son of the late Edgar Lee and Pearl Hurst Kirby, he was owner of Kirby Mold, Inc., investment and mold maker.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Kirby Davis and Kandi Lee Kirby, both of Sarasota; one son, Hershel Kevin Lee Kirby, of Sarasota; two sisters, Ida Shirmen, of Kennett and Valdrice Willoughby, of Wardell, Mo.; two grandchildren, Donald "D.J." and Kristen Davis, both of Sarasota and former wife, Betty McNabb Kirby, of Sarasota.
