Irene Cora Foreman, 75, of Gray Ridge, Mo., died Monday, April 24, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
Born July 15, 1930, in Malden, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Cora Truett Book.
She married Jake Brown, who preceded her in death. She married Floyd Foreman on Feb. 25, 1967, in New Madrid, Mo., who preceded her in death on Oct. 2, 1991. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Nelson; one son, J.R. Brown; two sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Childers, of Eureka, Calif., Debbie Wilkerson, of Jonesboro, Ark., and Evelyn Ross, of Gray Ridge; four sons, Lonnie Ray Brown, of Jonesboro, Lawrence Brown, of Johnson City, Tenn., Thomas Brown, of Tennessee Colony, Texas and Floyd Foreman, of Sikeston; two sisters, Zella Hill, of Gideon, Mo., and Gertie Roider, of Malden; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 27, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Gideon.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 28, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Gideon.
Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
