Eula Lee Newton, 90, of Senath, Mo., died Sunday, April 23, 2006, at her residence.
Born Oct. 14, 1915, in Tennessee, daughter of the late Ernest and Nora B. Carrington Wood, she was a school teacher and a member of the First Baptist Church in Senath.
Survivors include one sister, Ernestine Cates, of Gulfport, Miss., one nephew, John Cates, of Houston, Texas and one great-niece and nephew.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., today, Wednesday, April 26, in the McGrew Cemetery at Senath with the Rev. Don Martin officiating.
Pallbearers were Mike and Jonathan Masters, Don, Burt and Myles Barrett and Tommy Small.
Honorary pallbearers were Byron Small, Keith Milligan, Welton Huggins and Mitchell Smith.
McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath was in charge of arrangements.
