Lottie E. Yarbrough, 83, of Little Rock, Ark., formerly of Caruthersville, Mo., and Blytheville, Ark., died Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
Born May 24, 1922, in Heloise, Tenn., daughter of the late William R. and Iris F. Loflin Moody, she was a 1941 graduate of Caruthersville High School and was employed with the Mayflower Moving and Storage Company. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Blytheville.
On June 21, 1941, in Caruthersville, she married William Clyde Yarbrough, who preceded her in death on June 4, 1991. She was also preceded in death by one brother, George A. Moody and one sister, Alma Green.
Survivors include three sons, William C. Yarbrough, Jr., and Russell R. Yarbrough, both of Maumelle, Ark., and Dennis F. Yarbrough, of Bryant, Ark.; one daughter, Brenda Joyce Sargent, of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Dorothy Bradshaw, of Caruthersville, Mo.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 15, in the Pemiscot Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Caruthersville with the Rev. Jim Pilcher officiating.
Pallbearers were William C. Yarbrough III, Russell Yarbrough II, Will and David Yarbrough, Joe Bradshaw and Albert Moody.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
