Martha Marie Blurton, 62, of Ellsinore, Mo., formerly of Wardell, Mo., died Saturday, April 15, 2006, at her residence.
Born Feb. 22, 1944, in Wardell, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Ruth Cheshire Hampton.
On July 16, 1966, in Wardell, she married Limuel Blurton, who survives.
Survivors also include three daughters, Vickie Hankins, of Chatham, Ill., Teresa Herren, of Caruthersville, Mo., and Karren Shaffer, of Ellsinore; two sons, Glen Stansell, of Ellsinore and Dewayne Blurton, of Piggott, Ark.; three sisters, Dorothy Buck, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Earlene Ferguson, of Qulin, Mo., and Julia Hampton, of Ellsinore; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one infant son; one sister, Melba Shumate and three brothers, Cecil, Leon and Jerry Hampton.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Tuesday, April 18, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Wardell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Quillin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Wardell Memorial Cemetery.
