Maxine Hicks, 65, of Senath, Mo., died Friday, April 14, 2006, at the Senath Nursing Center.
Born Nov. 7, 1940, in Light, Ark., she was the daughter of the late William Pleas and Mary Lee Smallman.
She married Robert Lee Taylor. She later married Charles Glen Damron, Hayward Mixon and James Hicks, who all preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and William Smallman and a son-in-law, Wilburn Roy Perkins.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Damron and wife, Mary Jane and Robert Taylor and wife, Dana, all of Kennett and Kent Damron and wife, Loretta, of Senath; three daughters, Teresa Tune and husband, Patrick, of Arbyrd, Mo., Karon Perkins, of Senath and Glenda Avery, of Leachville, Ark.; three brothers, Edward and Frank Smallman, both of Kennett and Paul Smallman, of Niles, Mich.; one sister, Bessie McGee, of California; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 17, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Rev. Andy Smith officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Steve Odle, Lonnie Long, Shane Petty, Joseph Perkins, Tim Dinkins, Dale Glover and Jerry Eveland.
