Bobby Eugene Hailey

Bobby Eugene Hailey, 74, died Tuesday, April 4, 200, at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield, Mo.

Born Dec. 21, 1931, at Bertrand, Mo., a son of the late Carl Madison and Lillian Emily King Hailey. He was reared in the Denton-Steele, Mo. area, served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW and a Baptist.

In October 1966 he married Georgie Dearin Parker.

Survivors include a son, Robert Eugene Hailey and wife, Melissa, of Salem, Mo., a daughter, Carla Howard, and husband, Kenny, of Hartville, Mo. two sisters, Dorothy Faye Griffey, of Fort Worth, Texas, and Melba June Wallace, of Kennett,; his companion, Dorothy Rauch, of Hartville: seven grandchildren, Kenneth Jr., Cory, and Cala Howard, Amber, Trebor, Autumn, and Ciara Hailey, and Siegfried Bauer; one great-granddaughter, Gracyn Sky Marie Howard; a brother, Dorsey Ray Hailey, of Rockford, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Paul Wayne Hailey, and an infant, Raymond Carl Hailey; an infant sister, Shirley Ann Hailey; and a step-son, Richard Parker.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home Chapel at Hartville with the Rev. Joel Childers officiating.

Burial was in the Shaddy Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Randy Dennis, Johnny Dennis, Trebor Hailey, Cory Howard, Kenny Howard and Kenneth Howard Jr.
