Mrs. Tennie Johnson, 96, of Jonesboro, Ark., died Thursday, April 6, 2006, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center at Jonesboro.
Born Jan. 13, 1910, at Piggott, Ark., she was a daughter of the late Victor and Nora Toombs Wright.
She married Fonzie Johnson who preceded her in death Dec. 16, 1974. She was also preceded in death by tw sisters, Myrl Hood and Mamie Nichols.
Survivors include one nephew, David Hood of Miami, Fla., two great-nephews, Dr. Jim Golden of Maumella, Ark. and Dr. Stephen Golden of Jonesboro; one great-niece Dr.Nickie Golden of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 10, at McDaniel Funeral Chapel in Kennett, until time of services at 2 p.m. with Kathy Holler officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Mike Ebbert, Steve Baker, Malcolm Culpepper, Dr. Steven Lunde, Dr. Dan Johnson and Dr. Jim Golden.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Stephen Woodruff, Dr. Ryszarda Hejmej, Louisa Cox, Earnestine Andrews and Mike Morgan.
