Vada Larie Woten, 91, of Wardell, Mo., died Saturday, March 25, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born August 20, 1914, at Wardell, a daughter of the late James Calvin and Martha Jane Miller Hillin, she was a homemaker.

On May 21, 1935, at Portageville, Mo., she married Isaac Woten who preceded her in death July 8, 2002. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lesa Woten; a son, Jimmy Franklin Woten; two brothers, George Hillin and Woodrow Hillin; and one grandson, Kelley Emmons.

Survivors include one son, Richard Woten of Wyoning, Dela.; one daughter, Martha Emmons of Holcomb and one brother, Andrew Hillin of Wardell; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at the Church of Christ at Wardell with Mr. Laddie Owens officiating.

Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
