Eva Mariece Gilmore, 80, of Malden, Mo., died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
Born Sept. 10, 1925, in Minden, La., daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Vera Mae Dyer Disotell, she was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Malden.
On Dec. 10, 1986, in Malden, she married Loren Gilmore, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, James Wilburn Stone and wife, Rebecca, of Searcy, Ark., and Kenneth Daniel Stone, of Benton, Mo.; four daughters, Peggy Presley and husband, Paul, of Poplar Bluff, Shirley Williams, of Sherwood, Ark., Phyllis Kay Dees and husband, Larry, of High Ridge, Mo., and Katherine Faye LaFereney and husband, Gene, of Campbell, Mo.; 12 grandchildren, Nathan, Melissa, Christy, Jared and Kenny Stone, Tammy Bange, Sandi Zufall, David, Scott and Jason Williams, Deborah Brady and Amanda Kay Lafereney and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ada Yax, Noralee Daniels and Mary Williams.
Visitation will begin at noon Saturday, April 8, at the Bradshhw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 8, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. David L. Wigger and James Hamlett and Bro. Howard Winberry officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
