Catherine Arnold Randell, 82, formerly of Hayti Mo., died Wednesday, April 5, 2006 in Springfield, Mo.

Born July 23, 1923, in Hayti, daughter of the late Jesse Arnold and Sudie Glass Arnold, she was employed at Taylor Sand and Gravel in Caruthersville, Mo.

In 1940, she married James Randell, who preceded her in death on March 1, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Tom Morgan and four brothers, Arnold, Willis, Vernie and Samuel Glass.

Survivors include two daughters, Jackie Turnage Daniele and Debbie Nickerson, both of Fayetteville, Ga., and three grandsons, Scott Turnage, of Springfield, Van Turnage, of Portageville, Mo. and Nick Nickerson of Atlanta, Ga.

Following cremation, a private family service will be held.

Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home of Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
