Nadine Richardson, 83, of Hayti, Mo., died Saturday, April 1, 2006, at the Heritage Nursing Home in Kennett.
Born Feb. 17, 1923, in Swift, Mo., daughter of the late Lonnie and Clara Ward, she was employed at the Hayti Garment Factory and the Hayti School lunch room. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hayti.
On Dec. 23, 1939, in Netherlands, Mo., she married J.W. "Swabby" Richardson, who preceded her in death on June 5, 1996. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Faye Smith; one sister, Lorene Glass and one brother, Donald Ward.
Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Greenwell, of Hayti and Joann Wallace, of Wardell, Mo.; one son, Jerry Richardson, of Blytheville, Ark.; two sisters, Veda Haynie and Hazel Barnes, both of Hayti and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 3, in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti with Dr. Mike Melton officiating.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of arrangements.
