Franklin D. Hamilton, 73, of Sikeston, Mo., formerly of Gideon, Mo., died Friday, March 31, 2006, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Aug. 1, 1932, in Appleton, Ark., he was a farm laborer and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include seven children; one brother, Julian Hamilton, of Appleton; two sisters, Hester Pyle, of Mansfield, Tenn., and Donna Mullins, of London, Ark., and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 3, in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.
