Lynn Krech, 78, of Kennett, died Sunday, March 26, 2006, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born Aug. 2, 1927, in Blytheville, Ark., son of the late Jesse and Christine Owen Krech, he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kennett, having served as deacon, treasurer and choir member, and a member of the Lions Club and Jaycees. He was prior owner of Century 21 Real Estate, having been in the Million Dollar Club for five years and was high point man on the Blytheville Arkansas Basketball High School team for three years.
On Sept. 10, 1949, in Hernando, Miss., he married Laverne McKuin, who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Janet Schoessel and husband, Dale, of Imperial, Mo.; two brothers, Billy O. Krech and Jessie Krech, Jr.; two sisters, Ruth Raspberry and Sue Phillips; two grandchildren, Christopher, Drew and Annie Schoessel and one great-grandchild, Haiden Elizabeth Schoessel.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., today, Wednesday, March 29, at the First Baptist Church in Kennett with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Chris and Drew Schoessel, David Krech, Kent Raspberry, Bill Phillips, Mark Richardson and Steve Lightfoot.
Honorary pallbearers were Bill Hook, Mike Hunter, Larry Kelley, John Tant, Tom Kinsey, Frank Stewart, Spencer Stout, Joe Rose, Joe Prance, Mike Gramling, James McKuin and David LaGore.
