Betty Sue Lawrence, 72, of Harviell, Mo., died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Feb. 9, 1934, in Piggott, Ark., she was the daughter of the late James Willis and Lora Mae Hinchcliff Parker.
On Feb. 9, 1950, she married Charles Wicks, who died on Aug. 12, 1970. She married Everett Lawrence on July 1, 1967, who preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1998. She was also preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Survivors include four daughters, Brenda Adams, of Parma, Mo., Diane Stevens, of Malden, Mo., Gina Black, of Manchester, Tenn., and Elaine Lawrence, of Harviell; one son, David Wicks, of New Madrid, Mo.; five step-sons, Gary Lawrence, of Dallas, Texas, Wayne Lawrence, of Waynesboro, Tenn., Mike Lawrence, of Piggott, Randy Lawrence, of Midlothian, Texas and Steve Lawrence, of Castle Rock, Colo.; one sister, Barbara Hastings, of Victorville, Calif.; 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Friday, March 24, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Townsend officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
