Mildred Pendergrass, 74, of Kennett, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Oct. 10, 1931, in Ridgely, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Taft and Violet Capell Riggs.
On Dec. 23, 1967, in East St. Louis, Ill., she married Raymond Pendergrass, who survives.
Survivors also include one son, Donnie Pendergrass, of Philadelphia, Miss.; two daughters, Shelia Wright, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Sharon Moll, of Perryville, Mo.; two brothers, Charles and Joe Riggs, of Kennett; four sisters, Bonnie Stark, of St. Petes Beach, Fla., LaVonda Rouse, of Corning, Ark., and Thresa Wilson and Phyllis Blankenship, both of Kennett; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, March 17, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 18, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glyn Davis officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Sam Wright, Gary Martin, Marc Blankenship, Ricky Ross, Bobby Moore and Keith Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers are Jim and Brian Pendergrass and Michael Benson.
