Mary Cordelia Murrell, 91, of Hayti, Mo., died Saturday, March 11, 2006, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.
Born July 1, 1914, in McCrory, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Charles Everett and Mattie Martha Stewart Manning.
She married Henry Baxter Murrell, who preceded her in death on June 1, 1968. She was also preceded in death by five sons, J.C., Dwight, Jimmy, Henry Carroll and David Murrell; three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include four sons, Donald Murrell, of Blytheville, Ark., Michael Murrell, of Kennett, Danny Joe Murrell, of Gregory, Texas and Terry Lee Murrell, of Bragg City, Mo.; four daughters, Wilma MacHost, of Imboden, Ark., Norma Dot Taylor, of Campbell, Mo., Deloris Rehrer, of Hendersonville, N.C., and Patricia Kaye Neal, of Madison, Ala.; 35 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today, Tuesday, March 14, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Revs. Troy Alley and Doug Walls officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Jake Murrell, Jeff Hudgens, Todd Metzger, Richard Johnson, Bobby Watkins and Billy Wayne Taylor, Jr.
