Jennifer Michelle and Jason Wade Martin of Cape Girardeau, Mo., announce the birth of their son, Cooper Jase Martin, born March 4, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center's Family BirthPlace in Cape Girardeau.

He weighed 7 pounds and 15 ounces and was 21 inches long.

He is the grandson of Terry Daugherty and Fred and Sandy Martin, all of Kennett.
