Lucille Shelton Robins

Lucille Shelton Robins, 84, of Athens, Tex., formerly of Kennett, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Tex.

Born September 11, 1921, in Holcomb, Mo., daughter of the late Dave and Fannie Beaver Shelton, she was a retired LPN and had been in the nursing profession in Mo., Ga., and Tex.

Survivors include one son; Larry Jaques and wife Paula, of Athens; two granddaughters, Gailene Jaques, of Dallas, Tex. and Kelly Driskell and husband Hollis, of Athens; three great-grandchildren; Melanie, Christie and Taylor, of Athens; two brothers, Bill and George, both of Missouri; two sisters, Bonnie Lewis and Janice Prince, both of Michigan.

She was preceded in death by second husband, Paul Robins; four brothers, J.D., Dale, Junior and Jim.

Gordon-Foster-Brown Funeral Home, in Athens, Tex., was in charge of the arrangements.
