Michael "Pooch" Prewitt, 52, of Kennett, died Monday, March 6, 2006, St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born July 29, 1953 in Kennett, son of the late Carl Prewitt and Jacqueline Marie Null Dempsey.

Survivor include two sons; Justin Prewitt of Kennett and Adam Prewitt, of Flint, Mich.; one daughter, Kimberly Merrihew, of Flint; three sisters, Judy Cole, of Kennett, Becky Sumrall, of Jonesboro, Rhonda Harps, of Cabot; Ark., and four grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, March 10, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett, with Joaquin Benson officiating.
