Rosie B. Moore, 83, died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems at Hayti, Mo.
Born June 21, 1922, in Iuka, Miss., daughter of the late Robert and Birdie Moore Martin, she attended school in Alabama.
On Dec. 13, 1935, in Iuka, she married Armble Lynn Moore, who preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 1981. She was also preceded in death by one son, J.C. and one daughter, Mary.
Survivors include two sons, Hubert Moore, of Pascola, Mo., and Cotton Moore, of Caruthersville, Mo.; five daughters, Mamie Scott, Glenda Hudgens, Diane McCaig, Joyce Quertermous and Tina Stevens, all of Caruthersville; two brothers, Bobby and Odell Martin, both of Alabama; three sisters, Pearl Fisher, of Michigan, Geniva Martin, of Tennessee and Betty Martin, of Alabama; 31 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home chapel in Caruthersville with the Rev. Anthony Stepp officiating.
Burial was in the Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville.
Pallbearers were Jerry and Jeff Hudgens, Mark, Richard and Michael McCaig and J.D. Hudgens, Jr.
