Born Jan. 13, 1933, in Hornersville, Mo., son of the late Harry and Nettie Prince, he was a U.S. Army veteran, and was employed at McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, Mo. He was a member of "Hell on Wheels" Army group/#837C Machinist Local.
He married Donna Ross, who survives.
Survivors also include two daughters, Pamela Black and husband, Robert, of St. Peters and Danette Tyler, of O'Fallon, Mo.; three sisters, Ruby Jones, of Flint, Mich., Betty Johnson and husband, Gene, of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., and Reba Davenport and husband, Darrel, of North Port, Ala.; one brother, Buell Prince and wife, Janet, of Cape Coral, Fla., and four grandchildren, Justin and Adrienne Black, Craig Gentry and Travis Tyler.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 9, at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center in St. Charles.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 10, at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel.
Burial will follow in the St. Charles Memorial Gardens at St. Charles.
