Marsha Trosper Sory, 58, of Germantown, Tenn., formerly of Caruthersville, Mo., died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at the Germantown Methodist Hospital.
Born Feb. 10, 1948, in New Madrid County, Mo., daughter of the late Elmo and Varena Goodale Trosper, she attended Caruthersville School, and was an accountant. She was a member of the Forest Hill Community Church.
On March 23, 1984, in Memphis, Tenn., she married William C. "Chappy" Sory, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Jared C. Sory, of Germantown and Tyler Sory and wife, Jamie, of Montgomery, Ala.; two brothers, Robert Trosper, of Sikeston, Mo., and Jim Trosper, of Blodgett, Mo., and three grandchildren, Grant, Grace and Garrett Sory, of Montgomery.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., Monday, March 6, in the Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville with the Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.
Pallbearers were Stanley White, Dave Loos, Kevin McGoldrick, Al Baker, Brossie Correro and Kiley Thames.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
