Gene Jackson, 94, of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.
Born Feb. 28, 1912, in Magness, Ark., son of the late Albert Henderson and Ida Margaret Page Jackson, he was a member of the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Malden.
On April 22, 1933, in Magness, he married Mildred Alice Batson, who preceded him in death on April 28, 2003. He was also preceded in death by one son, Ted Jackson; two sisters, Pauline Smith and Mildred Adams; one brother, Lincoln Jackson; two infant brothers and one grandson, Wall Jackson.
Survivors include two sons, Joe Jackson, of Malden and Albert Jackson, of Guyman, Okla.; two brothers, Jesse Jackson, of Branson, Mo., and Andrew Jackson, of Wichita, Kan.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 5, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Adams officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
