Betty Lavearn Miller

Betty Levearn Miller, 71, of Kennett, died Friday, March 3, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born July 8, 1934 in Doniphan, Mo., the daughter of the late Basil and Florence Hubbard Miller.

On April 25, 1953, in Pocahontas, Ark., she married Eugene Leon Miller, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by one son, Jerry Miller; five brothers, Ed Jones, Ray Jones, Howard Jones, Jack Jones and Gene Sheppard; and one sister, Valrie Johnson.

Survivors include one daughter Deborah Morgan, of Kennett; one son-in-law, Mike Morgan, of Kennett; and friend Jerry Tackeberry, of Senath, Mo.; five grandchildren, Nicole Morgan, Jared Morgan, Derek Miller, Michael Cantrell and Shane Morgan.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Sunday, March 5, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial followed in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers are Michael Leeker, Tommy Masterson, Bruce Miller and Marty Miller.
