Born February 25, 1921 in McCleansboro, Illinois, he graduated from Wardell High School in 1939 and served in the U.S. Army during WWII in Saipan.
In 1940 he married Catherine Arnold who survives.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Lockwood Randell Evans of Sikeston, his brother John Randell of Nebraska and his sister, Kathleen Randell Atwell of Sikeston.
Survivors include two daughters; Jackie Turnage Daniele and Debbie Nickerson, both of Fayetteville, Ga., three grandsons; Scott Turnage, of Springfield, Van Turnage of Portageville and Nick Nickerson, of Atlanta.
Following cremation, a private family service will be held.
