Roy Leon Simmons

Roy Leon Simmons, 75 of Neosho, Mo., died Wednesday, March 1, at Friedman Hospital in Neosho.

Born February 18, 1931, in Kennett, Mo., son of the late Roy and Gladys Seymore Simmons. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; Bobby, Billy, Harold Dean and George Roger Simmons; a sister; Brenda Wolford.

Survivors include three sons; David Simmons and wife, Ellen, of Pineville, Mo., Ronnie Simmons, of Weatherford, Tex., Jerry Simmons and wife, Sue, of Gateway, Ark.; one daughter; Ramona Vest and husband, Ronnie, of Garfield, Ark.; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 6-9 p.m., Sunday, March 5, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 6. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetary in Kennett.

Pallbearers are: Jarrid Vest, Roy Wayne, Joshua, Rick, Gary and Tim Simmons.
