Pearl Tucker Crites, 87, of Kennett, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Sept. 25, 1918, in Puxico, Mo., daughter of the late William Luther and Edna Mae Davis Tucker, she was prior owner/manager of the Dairy Queen in Kennett and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.
On July 2, 1939, in Kennett, she married Herman O. Crites, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, John, Jim, Ray and Charlie Tucker and one sister, Maxine Brown.
Survivors include one son, Gerald Crites and wife, Margie, of Kennett; one daughter, Pat Marchbanks and husband, Jim, of Kennett; three brothers, Bill Tucker and wife, Merna, of Holcomb, Mo., Wayne Tucker and Dean Tucker and wife, Virginia, all of Kennett; five grandchildren, Karen Edgington and husband, Richard, Angela Cunningham and husband, Will, Scotty Marchbanks and wife, Vanessa, Keith Marchbanks and Shawna Tyler and husband, Alvin and 10 great-grandchildren, Jay and Thomas Edgington, Madison Cunningham, Mekinsey, Ethan, Noah, Katelyn and Karsen Marchbanks and Tori and Ciara Tyler.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Revs. Doug Clinton and Dave Million officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Brad Tucker, Brian Tucker, Kenny Tucker, Kyle Tucker, Dennis Tucker and Don Brown.
Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Branum, Tommy Masterson, Roland Morgan, Lawson Brents, C.E. Lemonds and Delbert Hawkins.
