Kendall Lamar Jarboe, 39, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, at his residence.

Born June 20, 1966, in Hayti, Mo., son of the late Charles Alvin and Luvene Benthal Jarboe, he was a 1984 graduate of Caruthersville High School. He was a sheriff's deputy with the Pemiscot County Sheriff's Department, an officer with the Caruthersville Police Department and a DARE officer.

Survivors include one daughter, Candice Elaine Jarboe, of Gosnell, Ark., and one niece Tammy Alexander and husband, Tim, of Germantown, Tenn.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville with the Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.

Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.

Pallbearers were Tony L. Jones, Bryan G. Burgess, James Morgan, Chris Thacker, Michael Coleman and Jess W. Cagle.
