William Otto Powers, 85, of Campbell, Mo., died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at his residence.
Born June 6, 1920, in Tennessee, son of the late Walter Otto and Rebecca Ann Bartholemew Powers, he was a farmer.
On Jan. 29, 1939, in Blytheville, Ark., he married Flossie Ann Frazier, who preceded him in death on March 25, 1997. He was also preceded in death by five sisters, Stella Steele, Elsie Richardson, Donnie McCormick, Minnie Calvert and Louise Taylor; two brothers, Elmer and Leo Powers and one great-grandchild, Slayton George.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Powers and wife, Judy and Robert Powers and wife, Dena, all of Campbell; one daughter, Doris Hill and husband, Bill, of Desloge, Mo.; one sister, Lois Powers, of Gideon, Mo.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C.O. Evans officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
