Sharon Quick, 49, of Kennett, formerly of Steele, Mo., died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Aug. 27, 1956, in Hayti, Mo., she was the daughter of the late William Raymond and Evelyn Marie Ferris Ballard.
On May 12, 1981, in Sheffield, Ala., she married Carl Quick, who preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1994. She was also preceded in death by one son, Carl Edward Quick, Jr.
Survivors include one son, Joseph Robert Quick, of Kennett; three daughters, Leesa Johnson and husband, Ken, and Martha Kinnon and husband, Thomas, all of Kennett, and Mary Dooner and husband, Jerry, of Steele; special friend, Joe Thompson, of Steele; two brothers, Larry Jamerson, of Rockford, Ill., and Lyle Miller, of Cleveland, Texas; three sisters, Mary Bruce and Betty Turnbow, both of Joplin, Mo., and Martha Gentry, of Malden, Mo.; three grandchildren, Keneal and Kenrea Johnson, both of Kennett and Wynter Clanton, of Steele and several half-brothers and half-sisters.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Joseph Quick and Kenneth Johnson.
McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
