Harley Kelley

Harley Edward Kelley, 80, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti.

Born Dec. 22, 1925, in Steele, Mo., son of the late Fred R. and Flora Brown Kelley, he attended school in Steele, and was a veteran, having served in WWII and Korea. He was a deputy sheriff in Florida and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one brother, Harvey Kelley, of Caruthersville, Mo.; one sister, Glenda Jumper, of Steele; three nieces and three nephews.

Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele with Rodney Pitts officiating.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
