Velma Lell

Velma Estelle Lell, 80, of Senath, Mo., died Saturday, Feb. 11, at the St. Johns Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo.

Born Jan. 4, 1926, in Senath, she was the daughter of the late A.F. and Ruth Stanfill.

On Dec. 30, 1944, in Paragould, Ark., she married Dan Lell, who preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 2002. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Orbe Whitlock and two sisters, Lorene Dalton and Virlous Proffer.

Survivors include one son, Jim Lell, of Edwardsville, Ill.; one daughter, Danna Fach, of St. Charles, Mo.; one brother, Beunice Whitlock, of Senath; one sister, Lucille Lell, of Senath; one grandchild, Lynna Aubuchon and two great-grandchildren, Danielle and Emma.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Rev. Denny Brown officiating.

Burial was in the Lulu Cemetery at Senath.

Pallbearers were Bradley Lell, Brian Lell, Dennis Dalton and Lance Mabry.
