Inis Whitehead, 91, of Campbell, Mo., died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2006, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell.
Born April 18, 1914, in Bernie, Mo., daughter of the late Samuel and Etta Williams Garrison, she was homemaker and attended the Bethany General Baptist Church.
On June 25, 1932, in Malden, Mo., she married Otis Lee Whitehead, who preceded her in death on May 20, 2000. She was also preceded in death by one son, Walter Whitehead; one daughter, Lois Baxter and one brother, Marion Garrison.
Survivors include three daughters, Glenda Lewis and husband, Wayne, of Wappapello, Mo., Wanda Whitehead, of Campbell and Sharon Trowbridge and husband, Bill, of West Plains, Mo.; two sons, Marion "Bud" Whitehead and wife, Betty, of Broseley, Mo., and Darrell Whitehead and wife, Lisa, of Malden; a daughter-in-law, Maxine Whitehead, of Searcy, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with the Rev. Bryan Johnson officiating.
Burial was in the Bethany Cemetery at Campbell.
