Mary Lou Masters

Mary Lou Brashers Masters, 76, of Redding, Calif., died Jan. 21, 2006.

Born Aug. 18, 1930, in the Pool and Varney River area, daughter of the late Nathan and Bonnie Shipman Brashers, she graduated in 1948 from Holcomb High School.

In 1948, she married Joe Masters, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Stephen; two daughters, Denise and Valerie; three brothers, Donald, Jimmy and Tommy; five sisters, Sue, Carolyn, Judith, Bonita and Cynthia; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

McDonalds Chapel in Redding was in charge of arrangements.
