Rodney Joe Lynn, Jr., 27, of Cooter, Mo., died Monday, Feb. 6, 2006, at Cooter.

Born April 17, 1978, in Blytheville, Mo., he was the son of Joe and Julie Wimberley Lynn.

Survivors include one brother, James Keith Lynn and wife, Ashley, of Cooter; his mother and father, Joe and Julia Lynn, of Cooter and grandmothers, Rowena Lynn Teeter and Doris Wimberley, both of Cooter.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Paul Lynn and Doyle Wimberley.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at the Cooter Methodist Church with the Revs. John Earl Dunavant and Mike Hargraves.

Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele, Mo.

Pallbearers were Eddie Self, Jeremy Nichols, Dennis Hudson, Andy Barnes, Alan Parker, Scotty Hunhausen, Joey Boone, Jason Alexander, Cory Fultz, Allen Brown and Justin Lacer.

Honorary pallbearers were Trey Pelts, Scotty Tubbs, Jason Pery, Lee Clifton and Eric Howell.

Powell Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.
