Harriet Elizabeth Elliott, 85, of Hermitage, Mo., died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, at Osceola, Mo.
Born Jan. 19, 1921, in White County, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Walter Moses and Martha Edna Greathouse Duke.
On Sept. 15, 1936, she married Louis "L.V." Elliott, who preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 2004. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Haley Duke and three sisters, Lucille Mosley, Anna Mae Murphy, Marjorie Pauline Cagle.
Survivors include four daughters, Edith Codean Howell, of Hermitage, Mo., Audrey Deanna Terry, of Kennett, Ella Jean Masterson, of Waterford, Calif., and Mary Jo Elliott, of San Anselmo, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today, Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Robert Bilbrey, Richard Bilbrey, Adam Bryngleson, Milton Case, Joey Crucani and Mark Kennison.
