Whitney Tidwell

Whitney Roseanne Tidwell, 18, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006, at her residence.

Born Feb. 23, 1987, in Dyersburg, Tenn., daughter of Thomas E. and Teresa Clayton Tidwell, she was a student at Oakview Learning Center and a member of Sacred heart Church.

Survivors include her parents, Tom and Teresa Tidwell, of Caruthersville; two brothers, Clay Richardson and wife, Shonda, of Hayti, Mo., and Nicholas Tidwell, of Senath, Mo.; grandparents, Polly Clayton, of Caruthersville and Arthur and Martha Bane, of Kennett and a great-grandmother, Dorothy Clayton, of Caruthrsville.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the Sacred Heart Church with Father Randy Tochtrop officiating.

Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.

Pallbearers were Clay Richardson, Nicholas Tidwell, Tommy Clayton and Tommy Stewart.

Memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Building Fund, 601 Ward Ave., Caruthersville, the Caruthersville Public Library, or the Oakview Learning Center on Highway 84, Hayti.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
