Donnie Wayne Swindle, 59, of Senath, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at Arkansas Methodist Regional Medical Center in Paragould, Ark.

Born Jan. 26, 1946, in Beech Corner, Mo., son of Margie Deck Keen and the late Martin Keen, he graduated from Senath High School and served in the National Guard. He was employed with Arkansas Power and Light Company, the Dunklin County Water District No. 2 and was a member of the Lulu Baptist Church.

On Feb. 5, 1965, in St. Louis, Mo., he married Sharon Tyler, who survives of the home.

Survivors also include one son, Jeff Swindle, of Senath; one daughter, Kim Evrard and husband, Daryl, of Marion, Ill.; his mother, Margie Keen, of Senath; one sister, Janet Kendrick, of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Danny Keen, of Memphis and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, David Keen.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the Senath Assembly of God Church with the Revs. J.E. Crews and Wayland Tom officiating.

Burial was in the Senath Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jamie Bruce, Bill Cunningham, Gary Renfrow, Sam Massey, Skip Crossno and Terry Kelley.

Honorary pallbearers were Leo Warren, Tony Ridings, Ray Ivy, Lester Hunter, John Wilcox and Kevin Holmes.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of arrangements.
