Jake Allen Byrd

Kevin and Laurie Byrd of Blytheville, Ark., announce the birth of their son, Jake Allen Byrd, born Aug. 12, 2005, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

He weighed 7 pounds and nine ounces and was 21 inches long.

He is the grandson of Jana Howe of Lowndes, Mo., Bobby Franklin of Kemp, Texas and Jerry and Genia Byrd of Kennett and the great-grandson of Jane Boren of Blytheville.

He is welcomed home by a big sister, Marybeth Grace.
