Two employees of Southern Missouri Bank and Trust Co. were honored at the banks annual Christmas party, Greg Steffans, chief executive officer announced.

Mandy Shaw received the bank's outstanding achievement award and Debra Allen was named teller of the year, Steffans said.

Shaw has been a loan coordinator for two years and has another year of prior banking experience. She resides in Campbell with her husband, Tim.

"Mandy is a very hard worker who is always willing to help withe needed. She has earned this award by being a good worker who wants to make sure everything is done correctly and in a timely manner," said John Robertson, community bank president. "She is also a dedicated, caring person."

Allen has been a teller at Southern Missouri Bank for four years and has nine years prior banking experience. She resides in Kennett with her husband, Royce. They have two sons and a grandson. She earned this distinction for her excellent balancing skills and for her outstanding customer service.
