Russell Lee Richards Jr., 50, of Malden, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, at his residence.

Born Nov. 3, 1955, in Parma, Mo., son of Russell Lee Richard, Sr., and the late Mary Dell Drain Richard, he was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed at Ford Motor Company. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Sikeston.

On Aug. 14, 1995, in Detroit, Mich., he married Charlie Jackson, who survives.

Survivors also include one daughter, Coretta Carter, of Detroit, Mich.; his father, Russell L. Richard Sr., of Malden; one brother, Kalvin Richard, of Detroit; three sisters, Colletta Mays, Malinda Brooks and Binia Brooks, all of Detroit and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from noon to service time Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Sikeston.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Church of Jesus Christ Later Day Saints with Bishop Michael Comer officiating.

Burial will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.

Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden is in charge of arrangements.
